Ana is a licensed independent clinical social worker and graduate of Boston University. Ana has experience working with individuals and families, specializing in Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, both in her individual and group work. Ana’s approach centers around a balance of acceptance and change, drawing from both DBT and CBT techniques. She uses gentle challenging, honesty, and humor, to build insight for those looking to understand themselves and their issues.

Meredith Powell, LICSW

Meredith has her MSW from Simmons College.  She also has a Master’s Degree in Education from Sacred Heart University with a certificate in Special Education.   She has several years of experience as a clinician/therapist and supervisor working in schools, mental health agencies, emergency services for mental health, and hospice care.  Meredith provides an empathic and effective approach to depression, anxiety, grief, family relationships, marital, and personal relationships, with a focus on increasing personal effectiveness and communication skills. Meredith believes in providing a supportive and safe environment for addressing issues and will collaborate with clients to identify strengths and help achieve their goals.

Lauren Ide Witkowski, LICSW

Lauren is a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker with a Master’s Degree in Social Work from the University of Connecticut.  Lauren has over 10 years of experience working with children, adolescents, and adults in outpatient, in-home, school, and therapeutic programs. Lauren uses a solution focused approach with cognitive behavioral therapy to empower clients to create change in their own lives.

Gina Desmond, MA, MFT

Gina has her Master’s Degree in Mental Health Counseling and Marriage and Family Therapy and has over 20 years experience working with children, adolescents, adults, and families in the community.  In addition to her work at Insight Counseling & Wellness, she is the  Director of Operations for a non-profit organization specializing in supporting girls and young women with mother loss, and is dedicated to supporting families that are struggling with communication, substance use, crisis intervention, mental illness, and emotional disconnection.  She specializes in a holistic family system approach, and has often been compared to “super nanny”.  By providing her services either in the office or in your home, Gina is able to minimize barriers to treatment and work with each individual child, adolescent, couple, or family to meet their needs and improve their quality of life.

Emily Velker,

Mental Health Clinician


Emily is a licensed Marriage and Family Therapist with a Masters from Saint Mary’s University of Minnesota. Emily has experience working with families, adolescents, couples and individuals including within the LGBTQ+ community with anxiety, depression, anger management,  stress, and issues with life transitions (parenting issues, deaths in the family, divorce, etc.). Emily uses a mix of Narrative and Solution-Focused approaches with some CBT and mindfulness to help clients reach goals that are collaborated on.

Heidi Bluming, LICSW

Heidi is a licensed independent clinical social worker with several years experience working with individuals, children, and families. Heidi has her MSW from Boston College. Heidi specializes in trauma, abuse, domestic violence, addiction, and works with a variety of populations such as immigrants, people of color, and those with LGBTQ related issues. Her treatment approach is informed by CBT, DBT, narrative, and solution focused perspectives.

Jeremy obtained his Master's degree in Social Work from SUNY Buffalo and has worked in the mental health field for over 19 years as a clinician and a Clinical Director.  Jeremy works with individuals, couples, adults and adolescents, with issues including but not limited to addictions, depression, and anxiety, PTSD, and relationship struggles.

Biliana Angelova, MA, Med, RYT 200

Mental Health Clinician and Wellness Coach


Biliana has her Master’s Degree in Education and a Master’s Degree from the Boston Graduate School of Psychoanalysis.  Biliana has extensive experience working in schools, mental health agencies, research facilities (including Harvard University and MGH), and colleges (including Boston University) as a clinician/therapist, administrator, researcher, and instructor.  Biliana is an eclectic psychotherapist and a certified yoga teacher with expertise in cutting-edge mindfulness, yoga, meditation research and stress reduction. She uses an integrated therapies approach: mind and body, brain science and meditation, East and West, CBT and YCBT (Yoga Cognitive Behavioral Therapy), but most of all she is client-centered.  Biliana specializes in individual and group therapy, wellness coaching, mindfulness, spirituality, anxiety, depression and trauma, and is LGBTQ/polyamory friendly.

Veronica is a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker (LICSW) with an MSW from Boston University. Veronica was a social worker in the public school setting for over 10 years and has many years providing therapy to Spanish, English, and Portugese-speaking adults, children, adolescents.  She specializes in breaking habits and addictive behaviors using yoga, meditation and nutritional support.  In addition, Veronica specializes in holistic child and family coaching, yoga, mindful meditation, nutritional consultation, addictive behavior, child grief, stress and anxiety management and related sleep disturbances.  Veronica firmly believes that food choices may impact emotions and behaviors; she works with her clients to identify these foods as needed.

Ana is an independently licensed mental health therapist with experience working with both English and Spanish speaking individuals, adolescents, groups, and families.  Ana received her Master’s Degree in Counseling Psychology at the Carlos Albizu University in San Juan, Puerto Rico.  Her approach is tailored to the client but is informed by Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, DBT, REBT, Existential, and Solution Focused Therapy.  Ana has experience addressing depression, anxiety, anger management, family issues, life transitions, Bipolar Disorder, and multicultural issues.


Ana está licenciada como terapeuta de salud mental con experiencia trabajando con población adulta, adolescentes, grupos y familias en Íngles y Español . Obtuvo su grado de maestría en Consejería Psicológica en la Universidad Carlos Albizu en San Juan, Puerto Rico.
